Datu Puti toyomansi sauce is flavoured with calamansi, a citrus fruit hybrid prominent in the Philippines. Calamansi fruits are about half the size of a lime, and are picked when still green. The flesh is deep yellow.
Using calamansi gives this toyomansi sauce a bright, lemony tang. Try using this soy-based sauce as a condiment for barbecued chicken, or as a marinade for pork chops.
